Botswana

  • From Maun to Kasane: About 600 km (7–8 hrs). Take the A3 east to Nata, then the A33 north via Kazungula to Kasane. Roads are tarred — watch for wildlife along the way.

  • From Gaborone to Kasane: About 930 km (12–13 hrs). Take the A1 north via Mahalapye, Palapye, Francistown, then the A3 to Nata and A33 north via Kazungula to Kasane.

Zimbabwe

  • From Victoria Falls to Kasane: About 85 km (1–1.5 hrs). Cross the border at Kazungula, then continue ~10 km on the A33 west to Kasane.

Namibia

  • From Windhoek to Kasane: About 1,200 km (14–15 hrs). Take the B1 north to Rundu, then the B8 east through Divundu and Katima Mulilo, cross at Ngoma border, and follow the A33 east to Kasane.

  • From Katima Mulilo to Kasane: About 120 km (1.5–2 hrs). Take the B8 east to Ngoma border, cross into Botswana, then continue on the A33 east to Kasane.

Zambia

  • From Livingstone to Kasane: About 75 km (1–1.5 hrs). Cross the Kazungula Bridge into Botswana, then continue ~10 km on the A33 west to Kasane

  • From Johannesburg to Kasane: About 1,200 km (14–15 hrs). Drive north on the N1 into Botswana, continue via Gaborone – Francistown – Nata, then take the A33 north via Kazungula to Kasane.

  • From Cape Town to Kasane: About 2,200 km (24–26 hrs). Take the N1 north via Upington into Botswana, continue through Gaborone – Francistown – Nata, then follow the A33 north via Kazungula to Kasane.
